The rules in my classroom are simple, there are 5 'P's:

Productive
Patient

Be on time Enter the classroom quietly Turn in your homework on time Go to your seat immediately
Polite
Be nice or neutral to everyone No swearing, teasing, talking back, or bullying Respect your classmates, teacher, classroom and self Keep your hands and your feet to yourself

Bring all materials Bring homework Bring a pencil
Productive
Maximize learning time by staying on task Remain seated and on task during learning time
Patient
Wait respectfully and calmly for your turn Allow others time to give their answers Stay seated and attentive while others are talking
